Space to Serve and Grow
Seneca Hills internships are great opportunities to learn practical skills and explore career possibilities in a supportive camp ministry environment. Interns could become involved in our maintenance, program development, culinary/hospitality, and administration departments. These are full-time roles that allow you to learn practical skills with a supportive team around you. We offer a stipend and room and board at camp as a part of the internship.
Intern Information
Start Date
Typically, the internship will start on September 1 and run for one calendar year, with an option to include a second year. This timeframe allows our interns to learn how a Christian retreat center operates throughout the year, including our residential summer camps for ages 5-18. Interns also get the opportunity to build relationships, network with Christian organizations, and grow spiritually through our discipleship program. We provide our interns with opportunities and space to grow and develop in new ways.
Roles & Responsibilities
Interns play critical roles on the Seneca Hills team, contributing to the outstanding camp and retreat experience for over 5,000 guests annually. For many Seneca Hills interns, spending time in various roles helps them to determine a direction for their future. Whether you are most interested in vocational ministry, food service, trade school or college, a Seneca Hills internship is a great place to explore opportunities and ideas, surrounded by encouraging mentors. This is a time of personal discovery to identify gifts, skills, abilities, and interests, so you can make better informed decisions about your future.
