This past weekend, women from all walks of life gathered at Seneca Hills for a time of rest, renewal, and community at our annual Women’s Retreat. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter, and encouragement as we took time to step away from the busyness of everyday life and focus on our relationship with God and each other.
A Heartfelt Message
We were blessed to have Sarah Gillis as our speaker, who shared powerful and relatable messages throughout the weekend. Her teachings inspired us to deepen our faith and live intentionally in our walk with Christ.
Creative and Hands-On Experiences
In addition to Sarah’s uplifting sessions, we were joined by Bridgett Brainard, who led a time of Bible Journaling. This session encouraged creative ways to reflect on Scripture, helping many women connect with God’s Word in a fresh and meaningful way.
Participants also had the chance to get hands-on in practical workshops. One session focused on the art of bread baking, teaching the steps to make warm, homemade loaves. Another was all about mastering coffee-shop-level drinks at home—because who doesn’t love a cozy latte on a fall morning?
Restful Activities for the Soul
Throughout the weekend, women could choose how to spend their free time, from hiking the beautiful trails around camp, to rock climbing for an extra boost of adventure, to simply curling up with a good book. Crafting was another popular option, giving everyone the chance to create something beautiful and personal.
