Seneca Hills is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our primary ministry is our summer camp ministry. To support that effort we also serve as a year-round retreat and conference center, but we rely on the generosity of our partners to make up the difference. There are several giving opportunities found below. Below we have listed out some of our current financial needs. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent as allowed by law.
This fund enables us to proactively replace our aging infrastructure or quickly respond when a failure threatens our ability to operate. This fund covers items that are essential to our daily operations.
We believe the experience of camp can be life changing and don’t want finances to be a barrier for a camper to have the best week of their summer. Every year we award approximately $35,000 in scholarships to those who would otherwise not be able to attend summer camp.
- Camp Matters
Since our founding we have known the power of the camp. This fund was created to help us continue to make camp possible. Fees for summer camp only cover approximately 50 percent of the cost to run our camp program. This fund helps make up the difference.
Approximately 35 percent of our annual revenue comes in the form of donations. The general fund enables us to operate year-round and be good stewards of our staff and facility.
