- Who is Open House for?
Open House is for kids, parents, grandparents, children and youth leaders, and anyone considering attending one of our camps.
- Do I need to register?
No, but we encourage everyone to register. That will help us plan for the day as well as prepare for lunch. Click the RSVP button above to reserve your spot!
- Will there be food?
Yes, lunch will be provided during the Open House to give you a glimpse of our food service.
- How long will Open House last?
The Open House will run from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Feel free to drop in anytime during those hours. There will be an official Q&A time at 1:00 PM right after lunch.
- I am unable to attend Open House. Can I tour the camp at another time?
Yes! We understand that Open House will not work for every schedule. Please call the office at 814-432-3026 to schedule a time to visit camp and tour with one of our staff members.
- Is there a cost to attend Open House?
No, the Open House is a free event. It’s our way of welcoming you to experience Seneca Hills.
- What programs does Seneca Hills offer?
Seneca Hills offers a variety of programs, including Family Camp weekend, outdoor adventure camps, “Camp With Me” sessions where you can camp with your child, and week-long residential camps. At the Open House, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about each program.
- Is Seneca Hills affiliated with any outside organizations?
Yes, Seneca Hills Bible Camp is a member of the CCCA, ACA and is accredited through the ECFA. These help us stay aware of the best practices in camping and ensure we continue to hold the highest standards in safety, programming, and financial management. However, we are not affiliated with any one denomination, but have been inter-denominational since our beginning in 1936.
- What should I wear or bring?
Dress comfortably, but we strongly recommend shoes rather than sandals for walking around campus. Our facility is nestled in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania and it is not possible to tour camp and avoid the hills.
